Cookie Policy

Advanced Learning Academy | Last Updated: February 7, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, how Advanced Learning Academy ("we," "us," or "our") uses them across our websites, assessment platforms, and cognitive training applications, what information they collect, and how you can manage your preferences. This policy applies to reliqtest.com, realworldiq.com, realbioage.com, realworldcareers.com, sumcruncher.com, advancedlearning.academy, and all associated subdomains operated by Advanced Learning Academy.

1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile phone) when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites function properly, improve user experience, and provide information to website operators. Cookies may be set by the website you are visiting (first-party cookies) or by third-party services that provide functionality on the website.

Cookies can be "session" cookies, which are deleted when you close your browser, or "persistent" cookies, which remain on your device for a defined period or until you delete them manually.

2. How We Use Cookies

We use a minimal number of cookies, limited to those that are strictly necessary for our websites and assessment platforms to function correctly. We do not use cookies for advertising, behavioral tracking, retargeting, social media tracking, or cross-site profiling. We do not sell or share cookie data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Our approach to cookies reflects our commitment to privacy and our respect for our users. Because our platforms handle sensitive personal assessment data, we have intentionally designed our technology stack to minimize data collection and eliminate unnecessary tracking.

3. Cookies We Use

3.1 Strictly Necessary Cookies

These cookies are essential for the operation of our websites and assessment platforms. They enable core functionality such as maintaining your assessment session, processing payments securely, and protecting against automated abuse. Without these cookies, the services you have requested cannot be provided. These cookies do not require your consent under applicable privacy laws, as they are necessary for the performance of the service.

3.2 Cookies We Do NOT Use

For transparency, we explicitly confirm that our platforms do not set or use any of the following categories of cookies:

Analytics and Performance Cookies. We do not use Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Hotjar, Mixpanel, or any similar analytics tracking service that sets cookies on your device. If we use analytics, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is a privacy-first, cookie-free analytics service that does not track individual users.

Advertising and Targeting Cookies. We do not use Google Ads, Facebook Pixel, LinkedIn Insight, TikTok Pixel, or any advertising, retargeting, or behavioral targeting cookies. We do not participate in any advertising networks.

Social Media Cookies. We do not embed social media widgets, share buttons, or login integrations that would allow Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, or any other social media platform to place cookies on your device through our websites.

Cross-Site Tracking Cookies. We do not use any technology that tracks your browsing activity across other websites. Your interaction with our platforms remains private to our platforms.

Device Fingerprinting. We do not use browser fingerprinting, canvas fingerprinting, or any other technique that creates a unique identifier from your device characteristics for tracking purposes.

4. Third-Party Services

Our platforms use a limited number of third-party services that may set cookies on your device. Each is strictly necessary for the functionality described below. We do not permit any third party to use cookies set through our platforms for their own advertising or tracking purposes.

4.1 Cloudflare (Infrastructure and Security)

Our websites and assessment platforms are hosted on Cloudflare's global network. Cloudflare provides content delivery, distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) protection, and web application security. Cloudflare may set the __cf_bm and cf_clearance cookies described above. Cloudflare's privacy policy is available at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.

4.2 Stripe (Payment Processing)

We use Stripe to process assessment payments securely. When you proceed to checkout, Stripe's payment form may set cookies necessary for payment processing, fraud detection, and PCI DSS compliance. We do not receive or store your full credit card number, CVV, or banking details. Stripe's privacy policy is available at stripe.com/privacy.

4.3 BunnyNet CDN (Content Delivery)

We use BunnyNet's content delivery network to serve static assets such as images and logos. BunnyNet does not set cookies on your device and does not collect personally identifiable information through our implementation. BunnyNet's privacy policy is available at bunny.net/privacy.

4.4 Amazon SES (Email Delivery)

We use Amazon Simple Email Service to deliver transactional emails such as assessment results, purchase receipts, and account communications. Amazon SES does not set cookies on your device through our platforms. Amazon's privacy policy is available at aws.amazon.com/privacy.

5. Data Collected Through Cookies

The strictly necessary cookies we use collect only the minimum data required for their stated purpose. Specifically, our cookies collect randomly generated session identifiers that link your browser to your active assessment or game session, encrypted authentication tokens that verify your identity on platforms with user accounts, security verification tokens that confirm your browser has passed Cloudflare's security checks, and payment session tokens required by Stripe for secure transaction processing.

Our cookies do not collect your name, email address, physical location, IP address (for tracking purposes), browsing history, search queries, or any demographic information. The session identifiers contained in our cookies cannot be used to identify you personally without access to our server-side session records.

6. Managing Your Cookie Preferences

Because we use only strictly necessary cookies, we do not display a cookie consent banner requesting your permission. Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), UK GDPR, and the ePrivacy Directive, strictly necessary cookies are exempt from the consent requirement because they are essential for providing the service you have requested.

You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to view which cookies are stored, delete individual or all cookies, and configure whether to accept or block cookies from specific websites. Please note that if you block our strictly necessary cookies, our assessment platforms will not function correctly and you will be unable to complete or save your progress on any assessment.

6.1 Browser-Specific Instructions

To manage cookies in your browser, access the privacy or security settings within your browser's preferences or settings menu. In Chrome, navigate to Settings, then Privacy and Security, then Cookies and Other Site Data. In Safari, navigate to Preferences, then Privacy. In Firefox, navigate to Settings, then Privacy and Security, then Cookies and Site Data. In Edge, navigate to Settings, then Cookies and Site Permissions. For other browsers, consult your browser's documentation.

6.2 Global Privacy Control

We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as required by applicable law. However, because we do not sell or share personal information with third parties for advertising purposes, the GPC signal does not change how our cookies function. Our data practices already align with the intent of the GPC signal.

7. Legal Basis for Cookie Use

7.1 European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland

Under the GDPR and ePrivacy Directive, our use of strictly necessary cookies is based on the exemption provided in Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive (as implemented in national law), which permits cookies that are essential for providing a service explicitly requested by the user. No consent is required for these cookies.

7.2 California, United States

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), the information collected through our cookies constitutes personal information only to the extent it is reasonably linked to an identified consumer. Our randomly generated session tokens are not, in isolation, personal information. We do not sell personal information collected through cookies, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

7.3 Brazil

Under the Lei Geral de Protecao de Dados (LGPD), our use of strictly necessary cookies is based on the legal basis of contractual necessity, as these cookies are required to fulfill the assessment service you have requested.

7.4 Other Jurisdictions

We comply with cookie and data protection requirements in all jurisdictions where our platforms are accessible. If your jurisdiction requires specific disclosures or rights not covered in this policy, please contact us using the information provided below.

8. Cookie Data Retention

Session cookies are deleted automatically when you close your browser. Persistent cookies set by Cloudflare expire after 30 minutes of inactivity. The authentication token cookie (auth_token) used on platforms with user accounts expires after 30 days or when you sign out, whichever occurs first. The Stripe __stripe_mid cookie has a maximum duration of one year, though you may delete it at any time through your browser settings.

Server-side assessment session data linked to our session cookies is retained for the period described in our Privacy Policy. Deleting a cookie from your browser does not delete the associated assessment data from our servers. To request deletion of your assessment data, please contact us using the information provided below.

9. Children's Privacy

Our assessment platforms are not directed at individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly set cookies on the devices of children under 16. If you believe a child under 16 has accessed our platforms, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete any associated data.

10. Changes to This Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our technology, legal requirements, or business practices. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy. If we introduce any non-essential cookies in the future, we will implement an appropriate consent mechanism before those cookies are set on your device.

We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Your continued use of our platforms after any changes indicates your acceptance of the updated policy.
